In July 2016, upon completion of my PhD, which examined the global governance of food and agriculture, I established the Halifax Food Assembly. I still host the food assembly.
The Halifax Food Assembly is an innovative online market with a weekly collection that brings together local people with local food producers. It is designed to help people access the very best in locally produced food, help support local food producers, many of which are small family-run enterprises, and raise awareness of issues surrounding the production of our food.
Weekly collections take place at All Saints Parish Hall, Skircoat Green, Halifax, HX3 0LY between 4.15pm and 6.15pm every Wednesday.
This page will be updated with details of all the producers soon.
